Welcome to On Set With Shane Day 1 on our Into the Badlands series. At this location, there were tons of jumping spiders and poison oak. We were advised to wear long sleeve shirts and long pants because New Orleans has extreme conditions. Today I’m going to explain how we managed to shape the light with our constantly changing weather and also go into how the MōVI helped us save time on set and how I created the opening CGI shot of Sonny on his steampunk motorcycle.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge Shane! On Set With Shane – Into the Badlands posts have been some of my favorite. I really enjoyed season 1 of the show and now that your breaking these scenes down it really helps me to understand your thought processes and style in relation to the emotion of the characters. Great information. I can’t wait to see more.
