Po Chan and I will be leaving on a five-country tour of Asia with Canon in just a few days. If you are nearby, I hope to see you at one of the events. My father-in-law lives in Thailand, and it is one of my favorite places in the world. The life philosophy and stunningly beautiful architecture help fuel my creativity. I love all of the different cuisines and spices in the food. Lydia, my daughter Kyra, and son Myles will be meeting up in Thailand after the tour to spend the holidays with family. We are all so stoked to be there for over a month.
I will be talking about the new Canon 4K platform and showing clips from The Ticket, which we initially screened at NAB and shot on the Canon 1 DC. Camera etiquette, workflow, short cuts, tech talk, color correction and new rig systems that will increase your speed and accuracy in the field are all part of the presentation. We will cover how to use the unique qualities of these compact cameras, including the Canon C500 and 1DC, to best tell your stories.
Here is the schedule. Please click on the date for more information on how to attend. Some of the events are by invitation only. Hope to see you there!
