Ryan was instrumental in bringing our vision to life and has been with us since the inception of Hurlbut Visuals. He is intuitive and savvy by assessing our current needs, while anticipating the larger picture with built in potential for growth. Ryan understands our visual esthetic and has a killer eye for editing. He is proactive, solution oriented and endlessly creative. Collaborating with Ryan is joyful and we always end up laughing!

Ryan Strong Fritz is a digital development Sherpa.  For close to 30 years Ryan has been involved on both large and small scale projects ranging from creating some of the nations largest private/public networks to helping rescue dogs in the digital realm.  Every project takes on a life of its own and the experience brought to the table ensures a view that understands the foundations to provide a solid solution not only today but for the future.

Ryan has a degree in international business management with a minor in economics from St. Ambrose University.  Technology has been self taught by being “ in the trenches “ which has provided a real-world approach to the application of digital solutions.  By design this combination helps to create solutions that address the concerns of the medium and the understanding of the business structure and its goals.

As the lead for digital development Ryan has been challenged to create solutions that speak to heart and passion of the cinematographer.  It is is not enough to expound on the technology but more importantly the passion that underlies the process of telling stories visually.  Ryan and his team continually push forward from all the realms available to spread the word of the revolution taking place in the film industry.

When not dealing with the bits and bytes of the digital world you can find Ryan atop his tractor as a gentlemen farmer.  Ryan is married with four amazing children and numerous animals to round out the farm.
