Julien and I met on a camera test that I was doing with Nancy Schreiber, ASC and Jendra Jarnigan. He came wide-eyed with a bushy haircut and the burning passion to be the best. I threw gasoline on that passion and he has traveled around the world as the best media manager I have ever seen. Julien has a great eye and at sunset when everyone comes out to get on a camera, he continues to impress me. He has the gift of teaching and he aspires to be a director and understand what I do so that he can better communicate with his future cinematographers. Filmmaker, director, college student, media manager, 2nd A.C. and my assistant. There is not much he can’t do. Stand back!!
