It puts the subject(s) at the forefront. If you do try to look at the background, it *does* seem to be a bit of a shambles in some spots (kids' tricycles, unfinished walls, who-knows-what hanging from the ceiling - or is that the ceiling falling apart?)- maybe Julien was being kind? The adverts themselves were not the story.
