Just left the mall had to wait for the next showing first one was sold out. Amazing work! The reality of the lighting and camera motion combined with the action makes this an epic, everyone loves it. This makes all the other war/action movies looks stiff, stagnant and over managed. Great job by all involved on this project.

To Shane & Elite Team, and Lydia,

All hail to the #1 team in showing how a movie can be made with these little (but awesomely big-hearted) Canon HD-SLRs!!!

Everyone is talking about it - like my local car dealer, etc, - i.e., not movie people.

I'm hoping to see 'Act' on Friday morning (first showing here in Novato, CA) and I'm reviewing it for the Insync monthly movie gear newspaper, and hopefully for our local (Marin county) paper, the Pacific Sun.

I'd love to be able to include a 'sound byte' line or maybe two from you - on how you feel about the response this movie is getting, if you like. By e-mail would be fine - if a call is easier, I love to say "Congrats!" in person - 415 -827- 4635

I just got back from a critic's screening of Act of Valor in the Kansas City area, where it opens this Friday. I was blown away. A really good movie, and technically perfect. You guys know how to shoot action. Good cinematography, good editing. My advice to anyone going to see it: hit the bathroom first. You won't be able to leave your seat until the last credit ends. As far as the technology of what it was shot with--nobody can tell, it all looked great. Congrats!!!
